Six years ago I was blessed to meet Thea Fielding-Lowe. She had the idea for a talk show and in January 2018, I was honored when she invited me on her show. I spoke about balancing being a mother, professional, and a writer and how my faith has allowed me to achieve my Ephesians 3:20.

In February 2016 I was honored to speak at my alma mater, Bridgewater State University. Defining who you want to be is absolutely essential in setting the goals of who you can become. I set me goals high and even though I was at rock bottom, I persevered and achieved more than I ever thought I could.

When I was unemployed, I faced rejection daily for fifteen months. There were so many times I wanted to give up, but my family was depending on me. I had no choice but to master rejection recovery. It’s not easy hearing no, but once I learned not to personalize it, I accepted it as part of the journey to success.
